Geographic Cushions

These geographic pillows and cushions from my bearded pigeon are incredible, beautiful and varied visuals – definitely worth having a look at. Alas $55 is one giant leap out of my budget.

National Geographic recreate Pixar’s Up

Part of a fantastic set of photos documenting National Geographic’s Up-inspired floating house; “March 5 at dawn, National Geographic Channel and a team of scientists, engineers, and two world-class balloon pilots successfully launched a 16′ X 16′ house 18′ tall with 300 8′ colored weather balloons from a private airfield east of Los Angeles, and set a new world record for the largest balloon cluster flight ever attempted. The entire experimental aircraft was more than 10 stories high, reached an altitude of over 10,000 feet, and flew for approximately one hour.”

The Tweed Run

A friend pointed this out to me yesterday; “Dandy cyclists and spiffy highwheelers will again take to london’s streets for the third annual tweed run” – It struck me as being both marvellous and ridiculous. A fantastic idea, shame I won’t be at home on April 9th, but if you are around, check it out! Looks like a lot of fun!

Stewart Lee on Top Gear

This made me laugh a great deal, I think Stewart Lee’s brand of comedy is fantastic – definitely worth seeing live.

A New Start

I have been updating my Tumblr less and less recently, so rather than flog what appears to be a dying horse, I thought I would set myself up something different and start afresh. Here we go.
